Boys Army Costume Party Supplies
Are You Planning an Army Costume Party?
You have come to the right place for your Army party supplies. Army costume parties are great for children. They get to dress up in camouflage boys Army costumes or other military outfits and run around the yard playing commando.
There is a whole list of things that you should consider for your party: camo napkins, tablecloths, dog tag ids, cups, balloons, etc. Let’s take a look at a few you might consider.
Army Plastic Table Cover
Keep your Army costume party under cover with a digital camo printed table cloth. The digital camouflage was adopted by the armed forces because they found that it actually blended better with their surroundings than traditional camouflage.
This rectangular table cover is about 54 inches by 108 inches and is plastic so spilt drinks and cake wont be an issue- just wipe it off with a damp cloth. If your party is going to be outside, you might also consider some table cover clips to keep the wind from blowing the table cloth around.
And after you are done with the cake and festivities, the table cloth would make a great battle ground for little green army men or GI Joe action figures. Just spread it out on the floor and start your battles. You could even put some towels or stuffed animals under it to make it have hills and valleys like real terrain.
Army Dinner Plates
When the kids are ready for chow time, serve their grub on these special forces dinner plates. They are about 9 inches in diameter so you can get good size portions of hot dogs and hamburgers along with any other food you are serving. They work great for cake too, as they are big enough that they will catch most of the crumbs!
Each package comes with eight plates that have digital camouflage borders and a helicopter scene in the middle. Please note, that this image may differ in the future depending on supplies.
Army Lunch Napkins
Well, if you going to get the plates, why not get the matching Army lunch napkins? Those little soldiers are going to need something to clean the chow off of their faces in order to meet inspection.
You can get a package of 16 and they are 3-ply paper napkins that are about 6.5 inches by 6.5 inches. You can also get similar beverage napkins.
Army Plastic Dog Tags
The dog tags are great as place settings and take home party favors. Just print your guests names on the paper and slide it into the plastic ID tag. THen place it at the chair that you want the kids to sit at. They can find their name and get settled in for some chow. After they eat, they can wear their ID dog tags and be like real soldiers. It is a great party favor for them to take home so they can continue to use them.
You get 4 per package so it is a great deal!
Plastic Green Army Canteen
This is a great treat! Use the canteen in lieu of or in addition to your party cups. This will really add to the effect of the party. Every soldier needs to have a canteen and like the dog tags, these can be used as party favors as well. They are sure to be a big hit!
The plastic canteen is only about 4 inches diameter and about 1 inch thick, so they are a little small to be a real canteen, but work great for parties. They don’t hold a lot of liquid so spills are small. The attached screw cap will help against most spills too!
Some of my favorite memories as a child are of playing soldier with my friends. We would dress up in camouflage and stalk the neighborhood. We would break out the little green army men and our GI joe action figures and play out in the yard for hours. If it was bad weather, we would end up inside playing in our rooms, or in the basement making army bases out of other toys and blankets. Although we never officially had an Army costume party, we often got together and had lunch dressed up anyway. What a great party idea!
